In this course, students will gain foundational knowledge of core data concepts and related Microsoft Azure data services. Students will learn about core data concepts such as relational, non-relational, big data, and analytics, and build their foundational knowledge of cloud data services within Microsoft Azure. Students will explore fundamental relational data concepts and relational database services in Azure. They will explore Azure storage for non-relational data and the fundamentals of Azure Cosmos DB. Students will learn about large-scale data warehousing, real-time analytics, and data visualization.
A candidate for this exam should have subject matter expertise designing, implementing, and monitoring cloud-native applications that store and manage data.
Responsibilities for this role include designing and implementing data models and data distribution, loading data into an Azure Cosmos DB database, and optimizing and maintaining the solution. These professionals integrate the solution with other Azure services. They also design, implement, and monitor solutions that consider security, availability, resilience, and performance requirements.
Candidates for this exam should have subject matter expertise applying data science and machine learning to implement and run machine learning workloads on Microsoft Azure.
Responsibilities for this role include planning and creating a suitable working environment for data science workloads on Azure. They run data experiments and train predictive models. In addition, they manage, optimize, and deploy machine learning models into production.
A candidate for this certification should have knowledge and experience in data science and using Azure Machine Learning and Azure Databricks.
